Modern room, exceptionally comfortable beds, nice bathroom. A lot of goodies for breakfast. Location near to Appenzell after 3 days of hiking in the mountains and restaurant first night and the centre of Appenzell.

Had a blast with friends! The location was super convenient for hikes, especially to Kronberg and Ebenalp. Breakfast had a lot of fresh options. Definitely recommend meals at the restaurant. They were delicious and well-priced. Great value for money overall!

One night, the WIFI connection was a bit unreliable, but the staff quickly provided a router to improve it. This minor issue didn't affect our overall experience too much.

Navigating stairs with heavy luggage can be a challenge!!! More parking spaces would definitely make it easier !!! A bit more variety in evening meal options would be appreciated too!!!

Very nice fondue experience!

The hotel is just a short walk from the main street and was ideal for exploring the area. I enjoyed the modern room, especially the really good bathroom. The local attractions, like the Appenzell Brewery, were easily accessible. A special shoutout to Matthew, whose tips on hiking.

We had a lovely family stay, enjoying cozy rooms and fantastic mountain views. The breakfast was a treat, and the staff helped us explore nearby attractions. Our son loved the round table, perfect for family games after our trips to Kronberg.

My wife says that a play area for kids would be great.

While our bathroom was modern, it would benefit from a few more amenities for enhanced comfort. Free parking was a bonus in such a central location.

Great location! But room needed upkeep

The staff stood out. Matthew at the front desk was helpful and were really good too assist us. The breakfast spread had a variety of fresh local options every morning that I really appreciated. The fine city view from the balcony was a perfect start to each morning.

We stayed in the Adler suite, and the decor was gorgeous, capturing the Appenzell style perfectly. The bathroom was really good, with a spacious shower with nice fixtures. The bed was super comfy. Plus, the room had a little balcony with a nice view! Just a heads up, you may hear church bells, but they didn't bother us much. The location made it easy to access the main street and local attractions, a huge plus!

Just a balanced option for a short interlude in Appenzell with value for price. Had a fantastic time enjoying the delicious homemade desserts from the restaurant. Try to book an early breakfast for the freshest selection!
